В объятьях утренней зари

Я окунусь в прохладу трав,

И, душу, настежь отворив,

Отдам печаль свою ветрам.

Рассветный луч зажёг росу.

Туман клубится по земле.

Я всё с собой не унесу,

Я здесь хочу оставить след.

Среди берёзок и рябин

Я с детством нить ещё храню.

Среди некошеных долин

Я юность старостью сменю.

И пусть укроет листопад

Мои смятения и грусть.

А я без цели, наугад,

Уйду в туман и растворюсь.

In the arms of the morning dawn

I will plunge into the coolness of herbs,

And, the soul, wide open,

I will give my sorrow to the winds.

The dawn beam ignited the dew.

Fog swirls across the ground.

I won't take everything with me,

I want to leave a mark here.

Among birches and mountain ash

I still keep the thread since childhood.

Among the unmowed valleys

I will replace youth with old age.

And let the fall cover

My confusion and sadness.

And I'm aimless, at random,

I will go into the fog and dissolve.
