Wir treffen uns durch Zufall und haben uns nichts zu sagen

Euer Horizont reicht von zu Hause aus bis in den Garten

Spontan verlasst ihr nie das Haus

Und wollt ihr eure Freunde sehen, macht ihr Termine aus

Ihr fangt Gespräche über's Wetter an

Weil ihr Dinge mögt, an denen man eh nichts verändern kann

Die Zeiten mit den Partys, sie sind lange her

Man ist mit 25 schließlich keine 20 mehr

Ihr könnt die Dinge nicht genießen, ihr wollt fertig sein

Und darum lebt einfach schon mal so, als wär's vorbei

Und wenn ich euch so sehe, dann will ich nicht erwachsen sein

Denn ihr seht alle aus, als hättet ihr keinen Spaß dabei

Ihr seid geworden, wie ihr seid, immerhin!

Ich frag, was ihr so macht

Ich will nichts hören über das Leben auf der Couch

Es ist traurig, doch ich denke, eure Pläne gehen auf

Häuser bauen mit euern Frauen und dann geht ihr nicht mehr raus

Auf keinen Gig und auf kein Booking bei 'nem Festival

Nicht auf die Charts, nein, ich bin stolz auf gar nichts hier

Eher stolz darauf, dass ich nicht so geworden bin, wie ihr
