На улице дети играют в войну.

Кто научил их друг в друга стрелять?

Зачем это нужно им?

Я не пойму.

Кто их научил убивать?

Кто дал им приказ найти и убить,

Выследить, выждать, догнать и пробить?

От чего кровь по венам быстее бежит,

Когда слышат, как кто-то от боли везжит?

Кто им рассказал, что не жизнь,

А не смерть стоит им выбирать?

Кто им показал, что нужно как зверь

Над смертью врага ликовать?

Кто в детские руки вложил автоматы,

Оставив без выбора их навсегда?

Дети войны поневоле солдаты

И в мире не жить им теперь никогда.

Кто нас обманул, кто нам не сказал,

Что самое важное жизнь на земле,

Что жизнь твоя и жизни других — это то,

Что стоит беречь стоит мне и тебе.

Why do they need it?

Who taught them to kill?

Who gave them the order to find and kill,

Track down, wait, catch up and break through?

From what the blood runs faster through the veins,

When they hear how someone is driving in pain?

Who told them that not life,

Shouldn't they choose death?

Who showed them what they need like a beast

Rejoice over the death of the enemy?

Who put machine guns in children's hands,

Leaving them without a choice forever?

Children of war reluctant soldiers

And in the world they will never live now.
