Here we are

At the end

Another summer has come and gone again

Here I go working on my best goodbye

Trying to remember I’ve got her for one more night

The ride’s almost over, it’s getting colder

Far from the cold, we never needed anyone.

I’d trade these Novembers just to remember

The smell of the ocean lingered in her hair

But can you take me back there?
