Ibland blir man trött på sin vanliga roll

Diktatorn blir barn och grodan en boll

Och bollen jag -- vad trodde du?

Man studsar lite hit och dit och hoppar fram med ett «buu!»

Men ser du mej i kanten av din dag?

Ser du mej, det där som kallas --

Här studsar nu bollen längs gatorna fram

Den saknar vart djup -- och partiprogram

Och frågar nån om livets mål

Så har den bara sitt gjutna svar: «life is to have a ball»

Men ser du mej…

Och bollen, du minns -- där studsar den!

Den studsar genom väggen nu -- och vi är grodor igen
