Fear is not within

I can sense the evil coming

And now I can’t erase them from my mind

I know for I have seen

Firsthand how they will break you down

Merciful one does not exist

This needless suffering (that falls upon me)

These demons are not real (in my eye)

Their voices will return someday

We can but stare into the sun

And rise above the flames
