Born to howls and tears, surrounded by spears

The people, gripped with fear, beheld him

He had the eyes of a rat and the wings of a bat

he asked them

And soon came the day they came to send him away

They said he could not stay among them

His existence was wrong he’d terrorized them too long

200 villagers strong upon him

The Noctuus smiled, and drew back his hood

Flames erupted from the ground where he stood

They tried to run but none of them could
