We never thought to question why we’re here, it seems.

Served reasons on a plate;

though, slightly out of date.

Worn by bloody history, we fear to dream.

For, nobody likes change, as it’s considered strange.

But someone must die for us,

And I will take the blow, if I must!

Aren’t we all just dust???

Oh, Villain of Science broke an alliance

With all that we thought we believed!

Oh, Hero of God must have forgot

That we’d only pray when we need him!

My faith is shaking, and your hate is breaking me down!

It’s sad how an extreme can change the profile view —

Even familiar things grow old and spread their wings.

But we’re one and the many, rich with gold and news.

When history’s repeated, we’re winners or defeated!

But someone shall rise for us.

There will be risk, and a shift in trust;

Though, aren’t we all but just dust???
