Som i en dröm blev kroppen lätt och jag svävade mot skyn, jag fick vingar

Stora berg blev gula av guld och inunder glänste havet som ett silverfat

Och träden blev blommor och fåglar blev till bin

Och månen lyste grann och fin som i en dröm, min fantasi

Som i en dröm blev vattnet vin och blå druvor växte vilt, nära skogen

Och på träd som glittra av ljus växte stora röda smultron in vid vägens kant

Och när jag drack honung som rann längs trädens bark

Fick kroppen kraft och jag blev stark som i en dröm, min fantasti

Jag är kung för en dag, jag är kung i dröm och fanasti

Jag är ung, jag är glad, jag är ung, i drömmen är jag fri

Jag följer havets våg och vindens sus, jag följer månens sken och solens ljus

Som i en dröm blev natten ljus utav stjärnorna som föll, ner från himlen

Och jag såg hur tomtar och troll och små älvor dansa ringdans i en sockerskål

Och bilar blev hästar och höga hus blev små

Och himlen lyste azurblå som i en dröm, min fantasi

Large mountains turned yellow with gold and underneath the sea shone like a silver dish

And the trees became flowers and birds became bees

And the moon shone near and beautiful as in a dream, my imagination

As in a dream, the water became wine and blue grapes grew wild, near the forest

And on trees glistening with light, big red strawberries grew by the side of the road

And when I drank honey that ran along the bark of the trees

Got my body strength and I became strong as in a dream, my fantastic

I follow the wave of the sea and the whistling of the wind, I follow the light of the moon and the light of the sun

As in a dream, the night became light from the stars that fell, down from the sky

And I saw elves and trolls and little fairies dancing ring dances in a sugar bowl

And cars became horses and tall houses became small

And the sky shone azure as in a dream, my imagination
