Of everything you see

The absolute and only

Draftsman of your dreams

Accept it now and concede

Sow the seed, bring it to me

You mind your own and guard your keep

You keep it safe and clean

Carry on with caution

Culling worthless piles and weeds

Bleeding through and not quite healing

Feeling through but not conceding

After all of it I’m left

With aftertastes of this

It seems to be some sort of bliss

Or want I’m not sure which

It may be neither, maybe both

I’m not so sure these days at all

With all that I know

I don’t have much to show

All that I’ve fought to own

Has helped me grow so old

I’ve surrounded myself

With artifacts of loss

Like a live memorial

That’s bled me dry with such a cost

Then you joined me in the fun

Of indulging all our vices

Celebrated all of those

Gluttonous devices

You’re the devil, you’re obscene

We’re the same, you’re just like me
