Niin usein vielä muistelen

Mä jouluja lapsuuden

Ne elän yhä uudelleen

Mä kaikkine tuoksuineen

Isän lämmittämän

Saunan höyryävän

Kuusen oksin pihkaisin

Äiti askareissaan

Leipoi pipareitaan

Nyt on poissa kummatkin

Voi miten paljon siitä mä antaisin

Jos lapsuusjouluun löytäisin tien

Kotiin vanhemmille kynttilät kantaisin

Ne jotka nyt haudalle vien

Ja vaikka kinkku maistuikin

Niin siltikin jännitin

Kun isä poistui porstuaan
