That’s what everybody called her

Perfect body better face

Truly a sight to see

The whole world at her feet

She played it like a piano

A lack of decency

Is what she saw and then she said

Nobody wants to do things easily

Nobody sees the woods before the trees

Everybody wants to complicate

If that’s not true please tell me why does this happen

And then she cried

It was killin her inside

Everybody wanted a piece of

Her and her pride

She wept invisibly

Failure to catch a spark

Deprived her of good reason

She spent time in the park

Talkin to the birds and bees

Nobody wants to do things easily

Nobody wants to love eternally

Everybody wants to complicate

If that’s not true please tell me why does this happen

She closed her eyes

And saw the world go up in flames

A bird of paradise

Unable to fly away

Her degree in philosophy

Proved itself to be of no use

It made an apology

And left her to be on her own
