She’s never more lovely or frightening than early in the morning

Her black hair entwined with mine

I can feel her breathing

Above me beneath me her eyes are so deceiving

They tell me they want me

She’ll hurt me in the morning

She’s ruthless

It’s senseless

I’m useless

I can’t escape this feeling

This tension

It’s tightening

It suffocates my reason

I don’t know who I am

How I survived this beating

The strong me

She’s left me for the secret light of morning

My innocence was of a child

So I can’t stop from bleeding

And my trust was abounding

That was my mistake

And I thought heaven was burnt into blackness

Burnt into the background when we left

My ocean so quiet it echoes it resonates within me

It tells me to leave here eradicate these boundaries
