Glide upon a choppy topping

Watching strange ones heave and ho

A distant scream comes like a beam

I’m watching scales weave to and fro

The endless night, coral castle

Others slink into the dark

Follow the godstone as he floats down

Watch the scales, they gleam and glow

Bad dreams, trying to say something

But I’m too dim to know it

So it rages on

Strange screams, competing with some humming

But we’re too dim to hear it

So we badger on
