Снег, первый снег

Сотрёт тень с души

За кружевом рек

Скроет тропы в глуши

Белый ковёр

Не тронут ногой,

Чья-то тень меж стволов —

Я… Или призрак мой…

Тишина охватила

лес немой белизною

Ты бредёшь меж деревьев,

ищешь покоя

Будто слышишь, шепчет

Эхо ветра лесного:

Забудь обо всём,

останься со мною.

Останься навеки со мною

В заснеженный мир мой

Ступи неприметно,

Серебряный сон

Хранят белые ветви,

Звук хрустального звона,

Зов эха лесного

С пробуждённой души

Иней снимет оковы

Этот сумрачный мир

Застыл в ожиданье,

Каждый шаг, каждый миг —

Воспоминанье,

Как я приносил

Из края вечных снегов

Холод мёртвых цветов

И несказанных слов

Всё, что было вчера —

Замело метелью,

Средь её серебра

Я бреду меж деревьев,

С каждым шагом

Шепчу, будя эхо лесное —

Забудь обо всём,

останься на веки

со мною

Где же ты, свет мой,

В холодном тумане,

Этот сумрачный мир

Сверкающих граней —

Холодной души

Позабытое слово,

Сон мрачной зимы,

Эхо ветра лесного…
