Die Nacht… Du bist nicht allein

Die sonne zieht an mir vorbei obwohl sie eigentlich steht

während die welt an ihr vorbei so langsam untergeht

und wenn es dann dämmert und die nacht erwacht

beginnt ein untergang der jedem tag das leben nimmt

was diese welt am tag verneint lädt sie des nachts ein

und einer ihrer schatten wird von mir gemacht sein

dunkle seiten seiner seele bietet jeder zum tausch

unter menschen die sich suchen und nichts finden als rausch

die nach mir greifen und mitunter kriegen sie mich zu fassen

ziehn mich runter in nen bunker voller dunkler grimassen

hier kann ich grenzen überwindend meine seele verwetten

oder einen engel finden und mich retten

du bist nicht allein

kann denn die möglichkeit die sonne nicht mehr aufgehn zu sehn

einem die lust am leben nehmen?

ich teil mit jedem heute nacht den ballast

und das elend unsrer not in der angst vor dem leben und dem tod

in diesem lebenslagen kampf der krank macht und kraft raubt

häng ich an allem was mich schwach macht und aussaugt

wehr mich dagegen anzunehmen was weh tat

um niemals zuzugeben dass ich jemals falsch lag

doch wenn es wahr ist dass man erst durch fehler vollkommen wird

und dass wer aus angst am leben hängt sich vollkommen irrt

dann ist der schmerz loszulassen wohl nichts gegen den schmerz

wenn einem alles genommen wird

in einer stürmischen nacht erlöschen träume wie kerzenlicht

und wer nicht von herzen spricht trägt einen schmerz in sich

hütet und versteckt ihn hinter tausend ausreden

ich sollte beten aber irgendwas spricht dagegen

ich will vergeben denn der zweifel ersticht mein leben

ich kann nicht glauben meine liebe zerbricht am ego

ich will vertraun und ich weiss nicht mehr wie das gehen soll

ich seh kein morgengrauen nein ich sehr nur dichten nebel

ich bin am boden geknebelt und fast zu tode getreten

doch hab nicht vor so zu enden, ich hab nicht vor aufzugeben

ich werde dieses leben ändern und ich werds überleben

ein neuer morgen wird kommen und er bringt hoffnung für jeden

der neu geboren unter schmerzen aus dem koma erwacht

damit das feuer des herzens auf ein neues entfacht

dass hat das leben jeden tag in diesen händen verbracht

damit das licht der nacht ein ende macht

The sun passes me even though it's actually standing

while the world is slowly going down past her

and when it dawns and the night wakes up

begins a downfall that takes life from every day

What this world denies during the day invites you in at night

and one of their shadows will be made by me

everyone offers dark sides of their soul in exchange

among people who search and find nothing but intoxication

who reach for me and sometimes they get hold of me

pull me down into a bunker full of dark grimaces

here I can bet my soul, overcoming borders

Or find an angel and save me

I share the ballast with everyone tonight

and the misery of our need in fear of life and death

in this life situation struggle that makes you ill and robs you of your strength

I cling to everything that makes me weak and drains me

I refuse to accept what hurts

To never admit that I was ever wrong

but if it is true that one only becomes perfect through mistakes

and that whoever hangs on life out of fear is completely wrong

then letting go of the pain is probably nothing compared to the pain

when everything is taken from you

guards and hides him behind a thousand excuses

I should pray but something speaks against it
