Denn wir Männer sind gebrainwashed von Bildern, die uns seit Kindheit prägen

Viele Väter sind abwesend, traumatisieren kleine Kinderleben

Unsere Rolle wird uns geschrieben, wir sind darsteller und interpreten

Viele harte Fassaden wo oft meist nichts hintersteht, denn

Wir spielen diese machorolle gerne und wollen nicht lernen

Die guten Frauen suchen nach den tollen kerlen

Damals noch in der Schule war ich so ein lieber Junge

Mädchen haben mich süß gefunden, doch sie machten immer Schluss nach

Höchstens einer Woche waren sie weg, ich hab nicht gewußt warum das so war

Denn sie waren immer mit den super coolen anderen Typen

Aber die hatten mehrere Freundinnen und das führte natürlich zu Enttäuschungen

So kamen diese heuchelnden Schlampen zurück fragten, ob wir noch Freunde sind

Können wir nochmal neu beginnen

Können sie sich ausheulen in meinem arm über Typen reden

Die sie erst liebten dann verteufelten

Und dann eine Woche später wieder toll finden

Kann sein, dass wir die Zeichen falsch deuteten

Doch ich glaub das ist auch ein Grund, warum wir Männer so sind wie wir heute

sind

Nachmachen was wir ihnen vormachen

Unsere taten sind wie Botschaften

Die sie empfangen, unsere schlauen worte gehen links rein und Rechts raus

Genauso wie bei uns damals als kids auch

Ich wollte auch auf meine Lehrer nicht hören

Ich wollte auf meine Eltern nicht hören

Ich wollte auch keine Predigten hören

Und es heißt, wer nicht hören will, der muss fühlen

Und anfangen aus seinen fehlern zu lernen

Was die Zukunft bringt steht in den sternen

Für die ganz kleinen Jungen da draussen

Die gerade noch versuchen Männer zu werden

Mit blanken nerven, Hass im Herzen

We may have misinterpreted the signs

But I think that's also a reason why we men are the way we are today
