Late at night, stars shining bright

on me, down by the sea

And when I see them in the sky

constantly I’m asking why

I was stranded here

I wish I could be

I dream away, I don’t want to stay

in a world that’s so absurd

I wish we had a moon or two

like some other planets do

why was I born here?
