Waving our arms as we’re touching the ground

So curious after years of traveling outer space

Now we’re standing on Earth, a green world to behold

Cities of light, life and hustle of the human race

Uh that’s the way they do it

That’s the way they feel

A planet that could offer more than you will ever need

Uh that’s the way they do it

That’s their place to be

It seems we’ve found the brightest place in our galaxy

Now for a year we’ve watched their life

A world of people full of lies

And all their misplaced fear that

Makes them hate, makes them kill

Living on the good will of a greedy few

Who pull the strings

Engines on, this is not our place to be

Dumb as they are they think they are alone

Creation’s crowning glory in the universe

Uh that’s the way they do it

That’s the way they feel
