Warum hat er es

Und warum hab ich’s nicht

Warum bin ich hier

Und nicht anderswo

Da wo alle sind

Warum kann ich nicht

Warum lass ich es

Immer wieder zu mir rein

Dieser Neid zerfrisst mein Hirn

Und das Monster flüstert leis

Du kannst noch mehr

Ich halte das nicht mehr lange aus

Ich werf das gelbe Monster raus

Es bohrt sich mitten in mein Herz

Und es fängt von vorne an

Dass ich gar nicht anders kann

Der Neid verändert mein Gesicht

Das gelbe Monster bin ja ich

Und es macht mich blind

Lässt mich böse sein

Macht zum Sklaven

Mich meiner

Eigenen Gedankenwelt

Bis sie zusammenfällt

Und mich nichts mehr hält

Ich spritz mit Gift nur so um mich

Möchte dass es alle trifft

In meinem Herzen droht der Horror

Bin mein eigner Terrorist

Und ich lieg schon in der Gosse

Doch das Monster flüstert leis

This jealousy is eating away at my brain

I throw out the yellow monster

It bores into my heart

That I can't help it

Envy changes my face

The yellow monster is me

And it blinds me

makes me mad

power to slave

me mine

own world of thoughts

Until she collapses

And nothing can hold me anymore

I just spray poison around me

I want it to hit everyone

Horror threatens in my heart

Am my own terrorist

And I'm already in the gutter

But the monster whispers softly
