Piccoli eroi maltrattati, lasciati soli in un angolo oscuro

Mentre vanno cercando una strada

Una luce, un riparo, una guida

Ecco che si ritrovano sempre

Fra le grinfie dell’ultimo giuda

Sono gli ultimi in fondo alla lista

Sono lì e non li vede nessuno

Sono loro gli zeri del mondo

Stessi occhi, lo stesso profumo

E se fossi anche tu come loro

Facessi parte anche tu di quel coro

Rischieresti magari una volta

Che la sola speranza non basta

Ecco tutti gli zeri del mondo

Sono loro che chiudono il cerchio

Di un destino fin troppo scontato

Che ti stampa indelebile

Che ti stampa indelebile, un marchio

Chi tradisce è la solita gente

Che ti lancia un’occhiata e stranisce

Quando in fine hai raggiunto il tuo culmine

Alle spalle crudele colpisce…

Ho giurato di amarvi un po' tutti

Se soltanto riusciste a capire

Ma qualcuno esce fuori dal gruppo

E si lascia pian piano cadere

Sono grato agli zeri del mondo

Per la loro assoluta pazienza

Perché vogliono, osano, credono

Rispettando la loro coscienza

Same eyes, same scent
