Endlich da doch der Staub vom ganzen Jahr

Klebt noch auf unserer Haut

So weit sind wir gereist, um den blauen Koloß

Sich faul räkeln zu sehen

Er aalt sich in der Sonne bis zum Horizont

Schluckt am Abend Feuerbälle und nachts den Mond

Und läßt sie immer wieder frei

Und glitzert und schäumt dabei

Wir beide reißen uns die Kleider vom Leib

Die Sonne hat es mit uns gutgemeint

Wir springen rein

Wir beide tauchen ganz tief ein

Wir lassen alles andere sein

Das Wasser schließt und ein — oh ja

Naß über den Strand — Hand in Hand — erschöpft !

Wir fallen in den Sand

Es ist heiß, doch mit dem Schweiß auf deiner nackten Haut

Ist meine Zunge schnell vertraut

Das Salz macht sie rasend und läßt sich gehen

Und bleibt vor keinem Tal und keinem Hügel stehen

Alles in uns beiden schreit

Die List ist los, höchste Zeit

Du und ich im Sand auf dem Strand vor dem Meer

Andere Gedanken, die gibt’s nicht mehr

Erst — hinterher

Wir beide tauchen ganz tief ein

Wir lassen alle

Finally there's the dust from the whole year

Still sticks to our skin

So far we have traveled to the blue colossus

To see yourself lazily lolling

He basks in the sun to the horizon

Swallows fireballs in the evening and the moon at night

And keeps letting her go

And glitters and foams at the same time

We're both tearing our clothes off

The sun meant well with us

We jump in

We both dive deep

We let everything else be

The water includes and — oh yes

Wet across the beach — hand in hand — exhausted!

We fall in the sand

It's hot, but with sweat on your bare skin

Is my tongue quickly familiar

The salt makes her mad and lets herself go

And does not stop at any valley or hill

Everything in both of us is screaming

The list is on, high time

You and me in the sand on the beach in front of the sea

There are no other thoughts
