Que louvem os anjos, os homens e mulheres

Que cantem alegres crianças e velhos

Os anjos no céu cantam em sua glória

Enquanto na terra os homens buscam apenas jóias

Enriquecem e se esquecem de quem os beneficia

Se enaltecem como se ainda houvesse abundância de dias

Mas eu me lembro de onde vem minha alegria
