who plays insruments on the street.

Or the little girl in her own small world

who wants to be an astronaut.

Or the strange guy in the dirty tie

and with a suit that smells like shit.

Or the old lady that just said to me

that I’m going straight to hell.

Because Jesus said that you should never swear

and I don’t recall hearing that.

We’re like the highschool dropouts cleaning bathroom floors

in concrete buildings filled with people that are invisible.

And all their spouses and all their kids

and all their mothers and fathers and all of their friends

She is just someone,

someone walking by

But I’ve seen her in the crowd

she’s the one who stands out.
