The children are cold

Brings badness in time

I see us at home and

Who smiles for a dime

His home is tomorrow

His hunger his life

He never competes

In the gold seeker strife

A land who we pity

A land we despise

What is this pleasure

That lives in his eyes?

What are we craving?

Hungry and cold

The coins fill our pockets

With wonders untold
