Die Geschichte vom Nikolaus - NENA

Vor langer Zeit lebte in einem fernen Land ein sehr frommer Mann.

Er hieß Sankt Nikolaus und kümmerte sich ganz besonders um die armen Menschen.

Einmal hörte er von einem Vater und seienn fünf Kindern die alle hungern mußten

weil die so arm waren, dass sie bald nichts mehr zu essen hatten.

Da wollte

Sankt Nikolaus gerne helfen und so kletterte er in einer Nacht heimlich auf das

Dach des armen Mannes.

Er warf fünf mit Goldstücken gefüllte Beutel

durch den Schornstein.

Genau darunter aber hatten die Kinder am Abend zuvor

ihre Stiefel zum Trocknen aufgestellt und so fielen die Goldbeutel direkt in ihre Schuhe.

Am nächsten Morgen kamen sie alle aus dem Stauenne nicht mehr heraus

und waren überglücklich, denn von nun an mussten sie nie wieder hungern.

Seitdem stellen Kinder fast überall auf der Welt ihre Stiefel raus,

damit Nikolaus sie in der Nacht mit Geschenken füllen kann.

A long time ago in a far away country there lived a very pious man.

His name was Saint Nicholas and he took special care of the poor.

Once he heard from a father and his five children who all had to starve

because they were so poor that they soon had nothing left to eat.

Because wanted

Saint Nicholas was happy to help and so one night he secretly climbed onto it

Poor man's roof.

He threw five bags filled with pieces of gold

through the chimney.

Just below that, however, the children had the night before

put their boots up to dry and so the bags of gold fell right into their shoes.

The next morning none of them came out of the Stauenne

and were overjoyed because from now on they never had to go hungry again.

Since then children almost everywhere in the world put out their boots,

so that Nicholas can fill them with presents at night.
