Mein Antlitz aschfahl vor Gram - Nachtblut

Die Tage wirken blass und leer

Nach meiner Seele mich verzehr

Der Morgen trägt ein schwarzes Kleid

Einzig bleibt die Einsamkeit

Am ganzen Leib zieh’n sich entlang

Narben, die nur ich seh’n kann

Nachts albträum ich Angst und Wahn

Mein Antlitz, aschfahl vor Gram

Blattwerk scheint mir schwarz und grau

Der Vögel Stimmen traurig rau

In stiller Stunde kommen sie wieder

Des Leids entfachte Klagelieder

Innerlich es stürmt und schneit

Ob dies wohl so für immer bleibt?

Mein Herzblut, mehr kalt als warm

The days seem pale and empty

Consume me after my soul

The morning wears a black dress

The only thing that remains is loneliness

The whole body stretches along

Scars that only I can see

At night I have nightmares of fear and delusion

My face, ashen with grief

Foliage seems black and gray to me

The voices of the birds sadly rough

In a quiet hour they will come back

Lamentations kindled by suffering

Inside it's storming and snowing

Will this stay like this forever?

My heart's blood, more cold than warm
