the day is done

I feel a little tired

it’s time to go home

face another hour of driving

but today there is something strange

can’t really tell what’s the difference

seems a glow turned into a fire deep inside

I get in my car

put the key in the ignition

I lean back and wait

got to do some thinking

today might be the day

no more waiting for tomorrow

no more waiting for tomorrow from now on

where the car park ends

I should turn left now I turn right

I won’t go home where it’s safe and warm

leave it all behind

got my passport with me

my credit card will last for a while

tomorrow I’ll be far away

going to drive all night

the night is still young

veins flooded with desire

inside a feeling so strong

takes the wheel and lifts me higher

maybe a little out of line

maybe to much all or nothing

but when the day breaks watch me

wings will be unfold
