Stmívá se a já, sjíždím výtahem,

byl jsem blízko hvězd, v přízemí teď jsem,

blízko hvězd jsem byl, dům je plnej tmy,

já nepůjdu spát, já budu mít sny.

V přízemí vítr šílí, dům je plnej škvír,

já zas nejdu spát, zas mám řeč s mámou,

dlouhou řeč, co končí ráno,

dám si zdát nádhernej sen,

že s mou mámou jdem, někam stoupáme

a pak jdem trávou,

krásnej sen mně bloudí hlavou dál.

Končí ze snů ráj, vítr ztrácí dech,

sen jde na tramvaj a bloudí v podchodech,

bloudí v ulicích, vráží do lidí,

jenže ten můj sen, žádnej nevidí.

a long talk that ends in the morning

Paradise ends from dreams, the wind loses its breath,

the dream goes on the tram and wanders in the subways,

wandering the streets, bumping into people

but no one sees my dream.
