Me oleme mehed mere pealta

tormituultest sündinud,

me oleme mehed mürgitükist,

rauakangista kasvanud!

Ehk isade äng ja emade vaev

on kandnud kaugel kodu kallastest,

me hinges võitluses on hiiekoda

ja kodu Taara tammede all!

Esiisade verd nägime lainetesse kadumas,

vaevadesse vajumas.

Jõudu rauges sügavale, merehauda sügavale,

veri meie soontesse merevõlga nõudma.

Ja kui vajubki kunagi me jalge all meri —

ta sängi heidab kord iga poeg,

me jõud, hing, kiviste randade veri

kord ärkab kõuena tema toel!

born of storm winds,

we are men of a poison,

iron bar grown!

Maybe the anxiety of fathers and the trouble of mothers

has carried away from the shores of the home,

we are in the struggle of the soul

and the house under the oaks of Tara!

We saw the blood of our ancestors disappearing into the waves,

sinking into trouble.

The force waned deep, the grave deep,

blood in our veins to claim sea debt.

And if we ever sink under the sea -

every son casts his bed once,

we force, soul, blood of rocky beaches

once wakes up thundered with his support!
