Ich ess Schnitzel und ich ess gern Steak

Und mit Schinkenwurst ich gern mein Brot beleg

Gulasch, Frikassee und Schweinehack

Hab’n seit neuestem allerdings 'n Beigeschmack

Denn ich sah vor kurzem 'nen Bericht

Über künftig notwendigen Fleisch-Verzicht

Menschen gibt es nämlich immer mehr

Und die Rinderzucht kommt da nicht hinterher

Burger schmecken prima

Doch sind leider schlecht fürs Klima

Drum empfiehlt man jetzt für den genussvollen Verzehr:

Esst mehr Insekten

Das ist den Clou, den Forscher g’rad entdeckten

Denn wenn wir alle mehr Insekten schleckten

Wär das global mal ein Signal

Esst mehr Insekten

Wenn Ihr nur ahntet, wie gut die euch schmeckten

Und unter nahrungstechnischen Aspekten

Ist es eh die einzig wahre Wahl

Ratsam sei es, wir gewöhn'n uns an

Ein paar Änderungen im Speiseplan

Bienenlarven wär'n ein guter Start

Oder Mehlwürmer, wenn man sie schonend gart

Heuschrecken, die werden abgeschreckt

Und der Kopf entfernt, weil der so bitter schmeckt

Seidenraupen werden kurz frittiert

Kakerlaken lieblich karamellisiert

Riesenwasserwanzen

Sind kulinarische Romanzen

Oder Grashüpfer, wenn man sie sorgsam filetiert

Und so wächst die Welt wieder ein bisschen mehr zusamm’n

Doch wenn ich ehrlich bin sind die suspekten

Aspekte in der Überzahl

Esst mehr Insekten

Und setzt euch an den Tisch, den reich gedeckten

Doch sagt mir hinterher nicht, wie die schmeckten

Und schon gar nicht «Komm, probier' doch mal»

Mein Magen ging' zentrifugal

Und ich würd' sagen: Danke, nee, ich war ja

Schon immer Vegetarier
