È la notte di Natale

e mi annoio a stare qui

con la carta colorata e quante cose da mangiare

sembra quasi sia speciale

Ma che palle di Natale

con le luci intermittenti

alla tele e sui giornali sono tutti sorridenti

nei consigli per gli acquisti non ci sono mai perdenti

non ci sono ripetenti non ci sono io

Ma tu dimmi adesso che ci vuoi trovare

sotto un albero di plastica con la neve artificiale

come l’anno scorso è Natale

arriva e non lo posso evitare

anche se lo voglio di cuore

ma fa male ripensare quando stavi qui con me

Con gli amici a strimpellare

le canzoni di Natale

tutti sembrano felici e quante cose da scartare

ma la scatola più bella vale meno di un pensiero

un regalo più sincero è quello che vorrei

Ma tu dimmi adesso che ci vuoi trovare

sotto un cielo finto artistico da paradiso artificiale

come l’anno scorso è Natale

arriva e non lo posso evitare

anche se lo voglio di cuore

ma fa male ripensare quando stavi qui con me
