Я смотрю в окно —

Занятья лучше нет,

И вижу целый свет:

Проходят люди мимо,

Как будто нет меня —

Им совсем не нужен я.

И за мигом миг

Я вижу сотни лиц:

Рожденных и родных,

Убитых и убийц,

И все они спешат

Прожить ненужный час,

Пока их факел не погас,

Пока он не погас.

Здесь ведут войну

За лучшие места,

Здесь идут ко дну,

Взмывают в небеса —

Пусть ты сегодня бог,

А завтра ты никто…

Я смотрю на вас в окно.
