in questo giorno lieto,

pieno di cose belle,

vorrei lei fosse quì,

almeno oggi con me.

sarà con gli angeli lassù nel cielo,

sopra a una nuvola sù nel blù,

so che mi osserva dall’alto del cielo,

veglia il mio sonno non mi lascia più…

cara mamma dall’alto del cielo

oggi è natale e non sei con me.

sono un bambino anch’io,

e non ho chiesto doni,

vorrei soltanto che

fosse la mamma con me.
