Dove regna chi bara e non chi vale.

Mi specchierei ma senza ipocrisia

Nell’acqua dove affonda la bugia.

E laverei dal cuore la vergogna

Dei compromessi fatti in questa fogna.

Mi vedi un po' indeciso ma che importa,

Mi basterà varcare quella porta

E un mondo nuovo si aprirà davanti

Incerto ma pulito dagli inganni.

E non avrò nessuno a cui badare,

Nessuno che mi chiamerà papà,

Non una donna da dovere amare,

Ma un solo amore la mia libertà.

Però dovrei buttare la paura

Di uscire nudo e stanco dalle mura

Di questo mondo piccolo e banale

Dove regna chi bara e non chi vale.

Specchiarmi e farlo senza ipocrisia

Nell’acqua dove affonda la bugia

Lavare dal mio cuore la vergogna

Dei compromessi fatti in questa fogna.

È facile parlare ma il coraggio

Se non l’hai dentro non lo puoi trovare.

Non è come un pezzetto di formaggio

Che quando hai voglia te lo puoi comprare.

Se libertà vuol dire rinunciare

A tutto ciò che offre la realtà

Allora cara amica mi dispiace,

Mi spiace tanto ma io rimango qua

A sopportare ancora la paura

Di vivere ogni giorno tra le mura

Di questo mondo piccolo e banale

Dove regna chi bara e chi non vale.

A volte servirà l’ipocrisia,

A volte qualche piccola bugia

Ma non si sta poi tanto male in questa fogna

Se sai nascondere bene la vergogna.
