Vom Himmel Sterne niederseh’n, still wird’s in jedem Haus

Ich nur such' vergebens Ruh', mein Herz sehnt immer sich nur nach dir;

Nun liegt im

Mondschimmer die kleine Stadt und du, mich flieht der Schlaf noch immer,

ich finde keine Ruh

Die schönsten Rosen aus dem Garten hatt' bereitgestellt ich heut für dich
