Ich hab' von innen zu gesperrt und war dann draußen

Dort dacht ich mir: hier will ich nicht mehr hausen

Ist zwar sehr sicher, ich hab' alles was ich brauche

Doch nun bin ich lang gestanden, es wird Zeit, dass ich laufe

Und zwar nicht weg sondern hin

Ich will mal wieder fragen können, wo ich denn eigentlich bin

Ich will mal wieder sagen können, wer ich denn eigentlich bin

Und das finde ich nur draußen und nicht drinnen

Doch ich geh' ein' Schritt raus

Ich hab hier zu viel Infrastruktur

Ich streich sie täglich neu, doch was ist hinter der Tür?

Vielleicht sind wir zu feige um daheim zu bleiben

Vielleicht will der erhobene Zeigefinger auch nur den Weg weisen

I have too much infrastructure here
