C'è chi dice che l’arte

non ha rapporti con la società,

per cui l’artista vero

non si occupa mai

di problemi sociali,

lui si sente isolato,

chiuso in problemi intimi,

problemi che coinvolgono

la personalità.

C'è chi dice che l’arte

non ha rapporti con l’uomo comune,

per cui l’artista vero

non può usare un linguaggio capito da tutti,

anzi, meno comune

sarà il linguaggio usato,

tanto più verrà a galla

la personalità.

Ma c'è invece chi pensa

che l’arte ha un

suo rapporto

con la società,

visto che il nostro artista

assomiglia all’uomo tipico del nostro tempo,

soffre anche lui di un male

purtroppo assai diffuso,

che ogni volta ritorna

portando un nome nuovo:

ieri era il superuomo,

adesso è l’introverso,

comunque è sempre il mito

della personalità.
