Kiitos kaikkivaltias

Joulun henki talviyönä tulet sydämeen

Syttyy valo taivaallinen kylmään pimeyteen

Muurit murtukoon, mihin niitä tarvitsin

On tässä aivan hyvä nyt

Voimanani vuodet eletyt

Meitä kannetaan elämässä sittenkin

Yössä piha kimmeltää

On lapset juosseet ympyrää

Jalanjäljet sen paljastaa

Huomaamatta hymyilen

Miten kaunis joulun aikaa on maa

Armo meille annetaan
