Gebor’n in 'nem Sandsturm, an der Hand Spur’n

Manchmal denkt er sich, ich renn' in die Bank, nur

Seine Kinder, wer will sie groß zieh’n

Falls es schief läuft, wer kauft innen das Spielzeug?

Seine Kraft ist aufgebraucht, er hat ein Haus gebaut

Doch durch die Bombe wurde es dann zu Staub

Und heute schläft er auf 'ner nassen Couch

Damit sie satt sind, muss er selbst auf Brot und Wasser kauen

Jeden Morgen weckt ihn ein Boom

Auf dem Weg Richtung Ruhm mit Löcher in den Schuhen

Ein harter Mann mit wässrigen Augen

Kämpft für sein’n Traum, will ständig hier raus

Von morgens früh bis abends spät

Kämpft mit seiner letzen Kraft, dieser Pfad tut weh

So viele Probleme zu viel Chaos

Schlaflos und die Nächte werden länger

Für die Schulsachen der Kinder, für das Essen auf dem Teller

Die Kinder werden älter

Damals trogen sie Flohmarkt Jeans, heute reden sie von Belstaff

Er geht zur Tür, hat Tausend Gedanken

Die Kinder in Handschellen, begleitet von Beamten

Er wird schwach, seine Hände zittern

Sein Traum ist geplatzt, hier wurde alles schlimmer

So, so viele geben alles, komm’n trotzdem nicht ans Ziel
