Моя дорога нелегка:

То вниз летит, то в облака,

Пройдут дожди, пройдут снега,

Лишь разделяет берега.

А жизнь обидно коротка,

Как дуновение ветерка,

Лишь холодочек по спине

В пути напомнит о тебе.

Пусть мне улыбнутся небеса,

Поля и реки и леса,

И удивляюсь я воочию,

Как хорошо и днем и ночью.

Кую подковы днем, а ночью

Разглажу я морщины дня

И погоню вперед коня.

Возьму я горсть родной земли,

Чтоб сберегла меня вдали,

Огонь лампадки б не погас

В тревожный миг, недобрый час.

Как тень блуждают сны за мной,

А я молюсь тебе одной,

Пройдут дожди, пройдут снега,

Сойдутся наши берега.

Пусть мне улыбнутся небеса,

Поля и реки и леса,

И удивляюсь я воочию,

Как хорошо и днем и ночью.

Кую подковы днем, а ночью

And life is embarrassingly short

Like a breath of wind

Only a chill on the back

On the way, it will remind you.

Let heaven smile on me

Fields and rivers and forests,

And I am surprised with my own eyes,

How good day and night.

I forge horseshoes during the day and at night

I will smooth out the wrinkles of the day

And I will drive the horse forward.

I will take a handful of my native land,

To keep me away

The fire of the lamp would not go out

At an anxious moment, an unkind hour.

Dreams follow me like a shadow

And I pray to you alone

It will rain, it will snow,

Our shores will converge.

Let heaven smile on me
