Today we talked about many things

Today I woke up to many things

My day began in long confusion

Struggling hard for some solution

My throat was tight, my eyes were blurred

To no one could I say a word

Feelings that would not subside

Just kept tightening up inside

Watched you all and felt despair

Yet loved you all for being there

And then we talked, you understood

I even started feeling good

«Sit down,» you said, «talk it out»

«No, I can’t», «It's not so hard»

«It's not so easy,» «Come away»

«That's what I need, that’s waht I need to do»

To the country in an open car

Wind in your hair, blowing forments far

Behind your mind and far away

To where your bad dreams turn to clay

And as they slip I let them go

And with relief the tears will flow, let’s go

Today we talked about many things

Today I woke up to many things

You made me see how things could be

With time to let these feelings free

We have so many things to discover

And they’ll come if we help each other
