I can find comfort in madness

He’s like an old friend I can’t rise above…

Every glass appears half empty to me…

That’s not who I want to be

I’m painting by numbers

And I want some calm in my comfort

I want some bounce in my brain

I want to stand behind one thought

And stop all this looking for blame

Don’t do bright

And don’t do breezy

So I stick with

What comes easy

I just want some cream on my corn flakes

I want to sugar my tea

I just want to stop all this torment

I want to do something that’s nice for me and…
