Между январем и декабрем

Только бой часов и сердца стук.

И бокал игристого вина до дна.

И уходит что-то навсегда

Еле слышными шагами вдаль

И на шумный карнавал зовет Новый год.

Нас с тобою счастье

Балует не часто.

Но я верю, что мечты

Всегда сбываются.

А ты?

Загадай желанье

Тайное из тайных

И запей его вином,

И верь, что сбудется оно

В Новый год!

Может это детская игра.

Елка, конфетти и мишура,

Но ведь хочется хоть иногда,

Просто так

Словно в детстве снова чуда ждать,

Зажигая свечи вспоминать.

Мамин смех и запах мандарин

И любить…

Only the chiming of the clock and the beating of the heart.

And a glass of sparkling wine to the bottom.

Barely audible steps into the distance

And the New Year calls for a noisy carnival.

Doesn't pamper often.
