Arise, consumed by light;

blinding flare to bloodshot eyes

Alive, or have I reached the end?

Is this my final place of rest?

Racing mind, clouded and confused

Summon strength, will these limbs to move

sift through the dread

Separate these dreams from reality

Shapes begin to form, consciousness restored

Loss cuts like a knife, vivid memories drained of life

With bloodless veins and fearful eyes I fall to my knees, stare at the sun,

I repine, fathoms from the kingdom beyond
