An Hour of Vision - Hibou

Why do I walk within a sunless day?

Endlessly afraid

Tied to something vague

I’ll be slow to adjust the way I step

Likely to forget

Consciousness I kept

Rise in tandem with all my softer dreams

And fall to bravery

The circles interweave

I could only desire to kick back the fog

To simply laugh it off

To recognize my thoughts
