Foot of the mountain

Hidden from the sun

So too the bodies

Lifeless they hang

Was the black sea calling you

Silent its embrace

Here while every voice would come to form part of the background

Would the quietest voice of all finally make some sense

All we share between us

How we end

All but silence left our minds long ago

Solitary march towards the only hope that things may change

Strange, it seems rather we leave behind this dismal, endless void

Detached, devoid

Constant encroaching tension

Insurmountable, this perpetual burden

All of those around me, I owe

Absolved, resolved

Weight lifted

For them, for me
