's ochtends loopt ze door de straat

en ze heeft geen been om op te staan

en iedereen blijft naar haar staren

toch heeft ze niets gedaan

het bloed stroomt naar haar hoofd

en ze kijkt zo droevig uit haar ogen

ze denkt aan wat ze hebben wou

een beetje eten en hormonen en wat liefde van haar hond

maar de hond is dood

de hond is dood

hij is pas goed en wel begraven

de koetjes lopen in de wei

ik troost en neem haar dan te grazen

maar ze graast wel zonder mij

en zonder jou

bont en blauw

iedereen blijft naar haar staren

ze heeft de bijl nog in haar hand

niemand durft het haar te vragen

hoe gaat het met haar man

haar man is dood

en de hond is dood

in the morning she walks down the street

and she has not a leg to stand on

and everyone keeps staring at her

yet she did nothing

the blood rushes to her head

and she looks so sad in her eyes

she thinks about what she wanted

a little food and hormones and some love from her dog

but the dog is dead

he has just been buried

the cows are walking in the meadow

I comfort and then take her to graze

but she does graze without me

and without you

fur and blue

everyone keeps staring at her

she still has the ax in her hand

nobody dares to ask her

how is her husband

her husband is dead

and the dog is dead
