Dreamland - Galleon

A little boy slips through the door, full of hope into a bright morning

With he’s heart full of joy, and he’s legs want to run

He shouts what a perfect day, this is my funland, my dreamland

My land of opportunities, a chance to do what i want

What i can’t do in the real world

Growing up is hard, staying little is easier

Like peter pan i’m flying over houses

Over trees and hills, barren land and golden fields

Everyone loves to believe in, wondrous stories

And fairytales of other worlds

I wonder, are there rollercoasters in heaven

Or do i follow the yellow brick road

I could see a familiar face, and he said

The game has just begun

A merry-go-round that never stops

Popcorn hills and candy floss clouds

A hysterically laughing fool, juggling with toffee apples

But where are the clowns?

Maybe it is your dark side

Who pays a little visit

Loud voices echoes in your head

There’s a sea of sweat in your bed

Snakes pouring down your walls

Your hand looks like dried wood

In the dreamland, he waves his magic wand

In the dreamland, the man with not so golden sand

Suddenly you wake up with a scream

It is yet another suspicious dream

The dreams are much comfortable and warmer now
