I remember when everything was so carefree

Look into my future with 20/20 so clearly

I had my plans mapped out

Trying to tell me I wasn’t destined for greatness was aimless

Because I lacked doubt

I had to act out everything I saw for myself

Willing to back me up and willing to invest in me
